Calling all young singers and performers!
Thurston High School is excited to announce auditions for several small roles for elementary and middle school students in our upcoming production of Shrek: The Musical.
Auditions will be held on Tuesday, February 24 from 5:00–6:00 PM at Thurston High School.
We’re looking for enthusiastic performers who are comfortable being on stage and ready to be responsible team members during rehearsals and performances. This is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a full high school musical production and experience the magic of live theatre!
Parents/guardians will need to provide transportation to and from rehearsals and performances, all of which will take place at Thurston High School.
On audition day, please enter through Door #1 at Thurston. We ask that a parent/guardian plan to stay during the audition. Once your child has finished auditioning, you are free to head home.

Young and Teen Fiona- singer-
- prepare to sing "I Know It's Today" SCRIPT pages 34-37

- Young Fiona should be in grades 3-5 must be under 4' tall
- Teen Fiona should be in grades 6-8- must be under 5'2" tall
Young Shrek, Baby Bear, and Dwarf- actor-
- prepare to perform the role of Dwarf SCRIPT pages 110-111
- VIDEO Young Shrek
- VIDEO Dwarf (can be found at minute 56)
- Young Shrek should be under 5" tall
- Dwarf should be under 4'5"
- Baby Bear should be under 4’5”
